It is our hope that this newsletter finds all of you well.
We’ve just gone through a turbulent election process that not only elected a new President to lead our country but importantly also elected a large number of Senators and Representatives that have a tremendous effect on the policies that affect seniors and pensioners. Regardless of your political affiliations, it is incumbent on us to support and work with all of our representatives to ensure that our amazing country moves forward in a positive direction.
For the NCRO, we will continue to work with Stellantis/FCA US LLC to protect our pensions and benefits. This year we have had several meetings with FCA US HR and in our meetings we have discussed many topics important to our members. As we enter 2025, we will continue our meetings and FCA HR has committed to a regularly scheduled set of meetings.
In addition to our efforts with FCA, we will continue to work on national pension and health care issues with the NRLN. Through these efforts, we continue to make inroads with our representatives, and we look forward to meeting our new representatives educating them on the issues seniors and pensioners face. Later in this newsletter we will report on the September Fly-In.
As we enter the holiday season beginning with Thanksgiving, through Christmas ending with New Years, we wish you and your family a great Holiday Season.
