Your Personal Invite – an Important NCRO Seminar on September 20, 2018
On Thursday September 20, the Insurance Committee of your NCRO will present “NCRO Aging Issues Seminar: Care, Housing and Finance”. It will primarily focus on issues facing us and/or many of our families. While this seminar is designed for those with anticipated needs, it will also provide valuable information for those planning for what is yet unknown of the future.
You need not be a member of NCRO in order to participate.
The seminar will be provided free of charge and include light refreshments. It will be held at:
- Bloomfield Twp. Public Library located at 1099 Lone Pine Rd. (17 Mile, SE corner of Telegraph Road, entrance to the east of Telegraph Road, off of Timberlake Drive).
A webinar will be available to members who cannot attend in person. Webinar participation information will be emailed separately.
The Agenda includes speakers on:
- Palliative versus Curative Care: Understanding the difference and how / when to decide between
- Long Term Care Housing Options: Understanding the alternative living and housing options
- Paying for Long Term Care: Understanding and planning for paying the costs of care needed
There will be 3 local speakers, each one considered an expert on the respective subject. Following the presentations and answers to your questions to each, there will be additional opportunity for 1:1 discussion with the speakers. Members of your NCRO Insurance Committee will also be there to answer other questions you may have.
Doors will open at 10:15 a.m. and the program will begin at 10:30.
The seminar is anticipated to end about 1:00 p.m.
